Vivian Elise Lollis

August 26, 1954 — January 28, 2022

Amarillo

Viviane was born August 26, 1954 in Essigny-le-Grand, France to James T. and Rolande E. Lollis.

Viviane loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.  She was the most caring and giving person that most of us have ever encountered.  Even when she had nothing, she made sure those around her had what they needed and would do anything for anyone.  Viviane never met a stranger…she befriended those she met and adopted their families to be part her own.  Viviane loved working on puzzles, shopping with her friends – especially stocking up for any potential ‘snowmegeddon’ that may occur.  Her family jokes and blames her for being the sole cause of the toilet paper shortage.

Viviane started her childhood education in Mississippi, attended school in Germany, and eventually graduating in Atwater, California before moving to Fort Worth, TX.   She worked for Buffy’s Café in Fort Worth for many years before moving to Amarillo, TX where she worked for the Muddrack.   She was a Catholic and drew strength from her faith in God.
Viviane is preceded in death by her father, James T. Lollis; step-father, Robert “Bob” Young, her brother John Lollis and her life-partner, Rick Hutches.

Viviane is survived by her mother, Rolande Young; daughter, Christine Sturgess and son, John Sturgess; sisters, Evelyne Kirschner, and Bernadette Young and husband, Ricardo; brother, David Young and wife, Lisa; sister-in-law, Pam Lollis; grandchildren, Alexandra, David and Serena; bonus grandson, Axel; 3 great-grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and an AMAZING group of friends.
