Tammy Lynn Scroggins

On February 18th, 2023, Tammy Lynn (Martin) Scroggins, 59, passed away in Amarillo, TX, where she has called home since 2006. She was born on September 27, 1963, in Duncan, OK to D.L. Martin and Gladys "JoAnn" (Shahan) Gonzales.

Tammy had a singing voice that everyone who was lucky enough to hear it fell in love with. She loved to take care of her family anyway she could and treated her friends as family. She was diagnosed with ALS in December 2020 and did not let it stop her from living, loving, and caring for those close to her heart.

Tammy is preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn Gonzales. She is survived by her father, D.L. Martin and wife, Gail; husband, Cole Scroggins; daughters, Tracy Boyer, Elizabeth Petts and husband, Nathan, Alexis Scroggins and wife, Elizabeth Heeren; sisters, Vicki Wood, and husband, Johnny, Dina Antini and husband, Matt; brothers, Dewayne Martin, Doug Martin and Joe Scribner and wife, Michelle; and two beloved grandchildren, Jaxson and Donna.

As per Tammy's wishes, the family will be celebrating her life privately. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the ALS Association.
