Richard N. Mendez

Richard Mendez, 82, of Amarillo died December 4, 2020.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 7, 2020 in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.

Richard was born August 5, 1938 in Tucumcari, NM to Ventura and Rosa Mendez. He proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. Richard loved animals and enjoyed working on cars.

He is survived by sisters, Mary Almanzar and Dominga Rodriguez and husband, Ray all of Amarillo, TX; brother, Tony Almanzar of Amarillo, TX; step-sister, Rosa Almanzar of Amarillo, TX; and step-brother, Joe Almanzar of Las Vegas, NM.
