Petra (Solis) Malacara

Petra Solis Malacara, 76, went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2021.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1210 SE 11th Ave. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.

Petra was born in Amarillo, TX to Eubence Solis and Petra Rodriguez. She was known as a loving, caring mother and grandmother and will be missed greatly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 8 brothers, Eubence, II, Juan, Celmente, Narciso, Siberio, Luis, Santos and Librado Solis; 2 sisters, Dora Reyna and Eluteria Ortiz; and son, David, Jr.

Petra is survived by Mr. David Malacara; 2 sons, Esteven and Alfredo Malacara; grandson, Matthew Jon; 2 great-granddaughters, Meline and Izabella; sister, Anselma Bitela; and many nephews and nieces.
