Patricia Ann Crain

Patricia Ann Crain, 62, passed away March 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Greater Love Temple, 811 S. Tennessee St. Following the service, the family invites you for fellowship at 4:00 p.m., at In this Moment, 707 S. Polk St. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.

Patricia was born on October 7, 1959 to the union of Willie James Crain and Murtis Lee (Titus) Crain. Patricia was a life-long Amarillo resident attending Amarillo public schools and graduating from Tascosa High School. She began her career working for the Amarillo Public Schools then as a secretary for IHS of Amarillo. Her desire to be self-employed led her to establish a personal assistant and janitorial business. However, Patricia’s greatest joy was her relationship with the Lord, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was passionate about creating a family legacy, volunteering and setting a standard of excellence.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Cossie and Mattie Crain and Miles and Willie Mae McGraw; her parents, Willie and Murtis Crain; brother, Ronald Crain; and a nephew, Felix Crain.

Patricia is survived by her life partner, Mr. Jerry Cook of Amarillo; daughter, VaShawn Crain of Amarillo; son, Torei Crain and wife, Zibbora of Frisco; 4 brothers, Charles McGraw of Douglassville, Donald Crain and wife, Pamela of Amarillo, Mike Crain of Amarillo and Willie Crain, Jr and wife, Christina of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Sandra Eggleston-Howard and Jewell of Ogden, AR and Emma Crain of Amarillo; 7 grandchildren, JaBarei Mills, JaJuana Harvey, Christopher Campbell, JaQuavien Crain, Zyan Williams-Crain, Zaiden Crain, and Zayda Crain; 5 great-grandchildren, XyNiyah Evans, XyErion Dunn, JaBarei Mills Jr, Legend Crain, and Aviana Campbell; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
