Laureda “Cookie” Sandoval June 10, 1960-November 23, 2022

The family will be receiving guest at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia on Tuesday evening from 4 PM until 7 PM.

Our loving Mom (granny and great-granny) will always be loved and missed. Mom enjoyed many things in life. But, what she enjoyed most was being surrounded by family and other loved ones. Mom also enjoyed attending church when she was able too. Our Mom will always be remembered in our hearts and souls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Deloris Moreno and Virgil Watts; a son Andrew R. Zuniga; a daughter, Emalie B. Pizano; and a granddaughter, Azalea-Rose Silvia Samaniego.

She is survived by a daughter, Cathie SIlva and Husband Gerald and their families, Gerald V. Silva and Wife Whittany and Gesika D. Silva,  Cookie’s grandchildren, and her  great-grandchildren Zechariah and Andersynn Grace Silva; by her son Sammy Joe Sandoval and Wife Julie  and their families,  Dominic and Olivia Sandoval, Cookie’s grandchildren; by her son, Danny Joe Sandoval and Wife Jessica and their families,  Cookie’s grandchildren,  Danny Joe Jr and Gabriel E. Sandoval;  by her daughter Melissa Samaniego and Husband Victor, and their family, Cookie’s  grandchildren, Iris-Rose Melianna and Zavier Samaniego.  Cookie is also survived by her sister Cathy Frausto, many nieces and nephews Including Ramona Maes (niece) and many great nieces and Nephews.
