Kenneth "Gabby" Wayne Hinds

Kenneth Wayne “Gabby” Hinds, 74, of Amarillo entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on September 1, 2022.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 1pm in the MORE Church Sanctuary, 5511 W. Amarillo Blvd in Amarillo with Pastor Lyndal Waldrip presiding.

Gabby was born on December 4, 1947 in Dalhart, Texas. He spent his early years at Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch and would later be employed by Cal Farley’s from 1979 to 1986. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran  of the United States Army who made it home from overseas and left the war behind him to pursue God’s path all the way back to the light.

But more importantly, Gabby was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. He was the type of man to give you the shirt off of his own back and never complain or expect anything in return from it. Gabby was a man that only brought joy and laughter to the world. He will be greatly missed beyond measure.

Gabby’s memory will be cherished from here on by his son Grant Hinds and wife Mindy, their children Ayla and Demitrius; and his many friends of MORE Church.
