Kayla Luna, 35, of Amarillo passed away on January 11, 2022 in Odessa, Texas.

Kayla was born on December 21, 1986 in Amarillo, Texas to Richard Witherspoon and Carol Glenn. She attended Canyon High School where she enjoyed taking part in band and Color Guard. Kayla was beautiful, stubborn, had a huge heart, and hated to lose at anything! She always looked for the good in everyone and was always willing to help anyone. Most of all, She loved her children with every fiber of her heart.

Kayla would be so happy to know that so many others have been given the gift of life because of her organ donation. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.

Kayla was preceded in death by her grandfather Bill Glenn and uncle Robert Glenn. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Brandon Luna, daughters Kayden and Danika Luna, and son Jerimiah Luna all of Canyon, Texas. She is also survived by parents Sam and Carol Wempen of Happy, TX, Richard Witherspoon of Evanville, IN, and sisters Crystal Shepard of Plainview, Texas, Teresa Bural and husband Eric, Cassye Witherspoon and significant other Richard Cortez, and Stormi Witherspoon all of Amarillo; as well as granparents Delores Richardson and husband Freddie of Timberon, New Mexico. Kayla leaves behind her  nieces and nephews Tesla, Journey, William, Novalee, Kayson, Elizabeth, Sophia, Victoria, Lucas, Clavin, and Carson as well as many other beloved family and dear friends.
