“My dad was a true fighter in all that he did and a great dad. He fought to do right and make a living and provide for his kids. A good man in every way that he knew. A good friend and someone to talk to. The best dad is what he tried to be and a good dad he was to my brother and me. Dad, I love you and may you rest in peace. May God bless your soul, release it and be free.”
“Eugene Coleman, Sr. was every inspiration to me and others though it was hard times throughout his life, he always managed to fight and keep his head above water. In my father, I found a friend. I knew if there was anything I needed, he would do his best for me even in the last moments of his life, my dad fought to be here for us. He wanted to make up for lost time, and in the little moments, spent nothing was more precious, more meaningful, more courageous than seeing the same man I knew and grow to love even more. You rest in peace now Dad. We love you forever and you will always be in our hearts.”
