Elizabeth Margaret Hoffman, born November 16, 1931 was called home to Heaven on January 7, 2021 at 3:35 p.m. She was a resident of the Wellington Care Center in Wellington, TX at the time of her calling.
She was 89 years old.
She is survived by her two daughters, Margaret Ann Hojewski of Amarillo, TX and Gertrude Elizabeth Schroeder of Auburndale, FL; 9 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Caroline Salerno of New Jersey and Martha Schroeder of Alabama; brothers, Joseph Drumm of Michigan and Robert Drumm of New Jersey.
She was a mother, wife, and homemaker her entire life. She loved her family with every passionate part of her being. She was a devout Christian woman who loved God and her church. She was a member or Rockwell Road Baptist Church for 7 years. Her daughter Margaret lovingly cared for her for 23 years of her life.
Elizabeth had many loved. She loved to crochet and loved to teach others to make beautiful things. She was always making something for someone. She crocheted until her fingers no longer allowed her to. She had a talent for doing word puzzles that astonished many people. She also loved to play games on her computer and visit with her family.
Her family would like to thank all who cared for her, loved her and prayed for her. Thank you to all of the staff at Wellington Care Center who took such great care of her and loved her to the end. She was known there as “Jersey Girl.”
Memorial service will be held at a later date at Rockwell Road Baptist Church. All are welcomed to attend.
